The interplay between press-formed leather and a hardwood frame creates a light, refined silhouette. Despite its restrained and minimal appearance, the chair is remarkably comfortable, with a gently cushioned seat and a flexible backrest that will gradually adapt to the body over time. The backrest is secured with eight ebony dowels and reinforced with metal within the leather, creating a strong and durable connection.

The leather element requires a precise, multi-stage process that can only be carried out by hand. Two layers of 3.6 mm vegetable-tanned butt leather are press-formed, bonded, and hand-stitched together. A rigid support is integrated into the seat and topped with a layer of closed-cell foam.
